No, our surf lessons are suitable for all skill levels, including first-time beginners. Our experienced instructors will provide personalized instruction designed to match your abilities.

We recommend bringing a swimsuit to wear underneath the wetsuit we provide. Be sure to bring a towel, sunscreen, and a positive attitude. We provide surfboards and wetsuits with every lesson.

Our surf lessons are private to ensure personalized attention and instruction. You will have one-on-one guidance from our local surf experts.

Our surf lessons take place in beautiful Cayucos, California. We will provide you with specific location details through email upon booking. Most lessons take place at the Morro Strand State Beach Day Use Area where there is easy parking and reliable beginner waves. You’ll find our surf van parked there for the start of your surfing lesson.

Please call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your Lessons and or Rentals. If you do not call 24 hours in advance to cancel you will be charged in full. It is important to call outside of 24 hours so that we can offer you a full refund.

If you need to reschedule we will do our best based upon availability at no additional charge. Just make sure  you call at least 24 hours in advance and we will do the best we can to fulfill your needs while also adhering to our cancellation policy. We look forward to seeing you!

When you rent our equipment, you agree to the cost of repair or replacement via our liability waiver. Little scratches, nicks, paint chips, soft top peels are fine. We are mostly concerned about actual breakage, buckling, dents, or damage done to equipment that requires the replacement of parts, or drastically devalues the equipment.

When renting our equipment you are agreeing to be accountable for the equipment if damaged or lost; you will be responsible for repair or replacement costs in such cases.
